Refund & Cancellation

Policies governing commitment, resource allocation, and payment resolutions for Enterprise Services and Training.

Scope of Engagement

Our service engagements are typically custom enterprise projects covering analytics foundations, dashboard systems, decision intelligence, continuity support, or related training and handover work. These engagements are scoped through proposals, SOWs, or custom agreements.

Advance & Milestone Payments

Service engagements often begin with an advance, kickoff fee, or other milestone payment. These payments reserve engineering capacity and cover planning, architecture, discovery, and initial delivery work. Once project-specific work has started, those amounts are generally non-refundable.

Cancellation Before Project Start

If a Client cancels before the agreed kickoff date and before material delivery work has begun, a partial refund may be considered based on:

  • The amount of discovery, planning, architecture review, or setup already completed.
  • The delivery capacity and team time already reserved for the engagement.

Cancellation During Active Project

If a project is cancelled after active work has started:

  • Amounts already paid for completed milestones, completed work, or reserved delivery capacity are non-refundable.
  • Work completed up to the cancellation point may be handed over in its current state if commercially and technically appropriate.

Custom Enterprise Agreements

Where a custom contract, MSA, proposal, or corporate training agreement includes specific cancellation or refund terms, those project-specific terms will override this general policy.

Recorded Training Programs

Our recorded training programs, including the structured Power BI tracks, are digital products delivered with the access period stated on the training page. Because access is granted immediately, refund eligibility is limited:

  • Requests must be raised within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Requests are only considered when course consumption remains minimal, generally less than 5% of the program.
  • Once core paid content, downloadable resources, or protected learning assets have been substantially accessed, refunds are no longer available.

Expert Architecture Program

The Expert Architecture program includes deeper proprietary material, structured modeling guidance, and advanced implementation logic. Refund consideration, if any, remains limited to the initial 24-hour review window and ends once meaningful expert content or protected resources have been accessed.

One-to-One Mentorship

Live mentorship involves reserved instructor time, preparation, and personalized support. Because these sessions are capacity-limited:

  • Mentorship fees are generally non-refundable once a session is booked, scheduled, or has started.
  • Rescheduling may be allowed with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.

Corporate Training Workshops

Corporate training is planned around organization schedules, custom curriculum, and reserved facilitation capacity. Cancellation, postponement, and rescheduling terms are governed by the applicable proposal or training agreement. Fees may apply where preparation or scheduling commitments have already been made.

5. Conduct-Related Forfeiture

If a participant breaches the training terms or code of conduct, access may be restricted or removed immediately.

  • Examples: Harassment, abusive conduct, piracy, redistribution of recordings, or misuse of community access.
  • Refund effect: Removal from a program for conduct or IP violations is non-refundable.

Refund Processing Time

Where a refund is approved, it is usually processed back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, subject to the payment platform and banking system involved.

Payment Platform Compliance

All training enrollments and mentorship bookings are processed via Topmate. Platform-level processing rules, timing, and fees may affect how and when an approved refund is settled.

We may update this policy as our service model, training products, or booking process evolves. Any material change will be reflected on this page.
